Product Description
This 304 flanged check valve is a swing-type non-return valve for 2″, 3″ and 4″ flanged lines. A hinged disc swings open with forward flow and drops shut when flow stops or reverses — no power, no operator. The body, disc, arm and bonnet are cast 304 stainless steel (CF8), with a CF8M (cast 316) version made to order, sealed with a PTFE gasket.
Every size is available with two flange standards: ASME B16.5 Class 150 for American-spec piping, or JIS B2220 10K for Asian-spec plants. Smaller line? Our threaded swing check valve covers 1/2″–3″, the one-piece silent check valve covers 1/2″–2″, or browse all stainless steel check valves.
Models & Sizes
| Model | Size | Flange options |
|---|---|---|
| C-2F | 2″ (DN50 / 50A) | ASME B16.5 Class 150 or JIS B2220 10K |
| C-3F | 3″ (DN80 / 80A) | ASME B16.5 Class 150 or JIS B2220 10K |
| C-4F | 4″ (DN100 / 100A) | ASME B16.5 Class 150 or JIS B2220 10K |
Class 150 or JIS 10K — Which Flange?
The two standards use different bolt circles, flange diameters and raised faces, so they do not bolt together — a Class 150 valve cannot be mounted on JIS 10K counter-flanges, or the other way around. The valve body itself is the same; only the flange drilling changes. Choose by the standard your piping already uses: ASME B16.5 Class 150 is the norm in US-spec plants, JIS B2220 10K in Japanese- and much Asian-spec equipment. If you are not sure, tell us when you request a quote — the face-to-face length is identical for both, so the choice never affects your pipe layout.

Application Fields & Locations
- Pump discharge on flanged lines: stops reverse flow from draining the line or spinning the pump backwards after shutdown.
- Water treatment & distribution: 2″–4″ flanged mains between treatment stages and pump stations.
- Chemical & process piping: one-way flow protection where flanged maintenance joints are required.
- Building services: flanged risers and mechanical rooms where valves are unbolted for service.
FAQ
Are Class 150 and JIS 10K flanges interchangeable? No. The bolt circles, flange diameters and raised faces differ, so a Class 150 valve will not bolt onto JIS 10K counter-flanges or vice versa. Match the valve to the flange standard your piping already uses — we stock both for every size.
Which sizes are available? Three models: C-2F is 2″, C-3F is 3″ and C-4F is 4″, each with ASME Class 150 or JIS 10K flanges. For 1/2″–3″ threaded lines, see our threaded swing check valve.
What material is the valve? Body, disc, arm and bonnet are cast 304 stainless steel (CF8), with a PTFE gasket — in stock. A cast 316 (CF8M) version is made to order for chloride-bearing or more corrosive media.
How does the swing mechanism work? The disc hangs on a hinged arm inside the body. Forward flow pushes it open; when flow stops or reverses, the disc swings back onto the seat and blocks backflow automatically — no power or operator needed.
Where can I find the dimensions? Each model and flange standard has its own dimension sheet — download the PDF from the cards at the top of this page. It includes the assembly drawing, flange dimensions and face-to-face length.
What is the minimum order? No minimum order quantity — we accept orders of any size, including small trial orders. For small orders, freight is arranged and paid by the buyer. Payment is by T/T — 30% on order confirmation, 70% before shipment.
