Product Name

NAMUR Solenoid Valve — 5/2 and 3/2 Way, IP67, 24VDC/110VAC/220VAC

SKU: 4V310-08B
SKU 4V310-08B Category Brand:

Product Summary

NAMUR direct-mount solenoid valve. Bolts onto the actuator — no fittings, no tubing between them.

Order the one that matches your actuator:

  • 5/2 way → double acting (DA)
  • 3/2 way → spring return (SR)

G1/4 air connection · 4–8 bar · IP67 · 24V DC / 110V AC / 220V AC · manual override.

Every pneumatic actuator we make has a NAMUR interface, so the valve, the actuator and the solenoid can ship as one assembled package. Made in Taiwan. No MOQ.

Product Description

A NAMUR solenoid valve — the pilot that turns an electrical signal into actuator movement. It bolts straight onto the NAMUR interface on top of a pneumatic actuator, with no fittings and no tubing between the two.

Two versions, and which one you need depends on your actuator. Get this wrong and the valve will not work. The table below tells you which one to order.

5/2 or 3/2? Match It to Your Actuator

Your actuator Order this Why
Double acting (DA)
Air opens it, air closes it
5/2 way The cylinder has two air ports and both need feeding. A 5/2 valve pressurises one side while venting the other.
Spring return (SR)
Air one way, a spring the other
3/2 way Only one port takes air. The spring does the return stroke, so the second port is blanked off.

This is the single most common ordering mistake in pneumatic valve packages. If you are not sure which actuator you have, tell us the model and we will tell you which solenoid it takes.

Will It Fit My Actuator?

If your actuator has a NAMUR interface on top — the standard bolt pattern and the two air ports machined into the actuator body — this solenoid bolts straight on. No adapter, no piping.

And if you are buying the actuator from us as well: every pneumatic actuator we make has a NAMUR interface. The solenoid, the actuator and the valve all come from us, assembled and tested together, so there is nothing to match up on site.

IP67 — What It Actually Buys You

IP67 means the coil housing is dust tight, and that it survives temporary immersion in water. In practice: a washdown bay, an outdoor skid in the rain, a plant room that floods an inch deep. It is the rating you want on any solenoid that lives outside a control cabinet.

Where It Belongs

  • Automated valve packages — the standard pilot on our pneumatic ball and butterfly valves.
  • PLC-controlled plant — turns a controller output into actuator movement.
  • Retrofit — adds electrical control to any existing NAMUR-interface actuator, including ones you did not buy from us.
  • Washdown and outdoor installations — IP67 coil.

Buying From Us

  • No minimum order quantity. Order one to test it.
  • Manufacturer, not a trading company. Taiwan, valves since 1999.
  • Buy the solenoid alone, or the whole package. Valve + actuator + solenoid, assembled and matched before it ships.
  • Quote turnaround: within 24 hours.

Tell us whether your actuator is double acting or spring return, and what coil voltage you run. That is enough for us to quote.

FAQ

Do I need a 5/2 or a 3/2 solenoid valve?

5/2 for a double acting actuator, because both air ports have to be fed. 3/2 for a spring return actuator, because only one port takes air and the spring does the return stroke. This is the most common ordering mistake in pneumatic valve packages — if you are not sure which actuator you have, send us the model and we will tell you.

Will this solenoid fit my existing actuator?

If the actuator has a NAMUR interface on top, yes — it bolts straight on, with no adapter and no tubing. That includes actuators you did not buy from us.

Are your pneumatic actuators NAMUR?

Yes. Every pneumatic actuator we make has a NAMUR interface, so any of our solenoids mounts directly onto any of our actuators.

What air pressure does it need?

4 to 8 bar.

What is the air connection size?

G1/4.

What coil voltages do you offer?

24V DC, 110V AC and 220V AC.

What does IP67 mean here?

The coil housing is dust tight and survives temporary immersion in water. It is the rating you want for washdown areas, outdoor skids, and anywhere the solenoid is not inside a control cabinet.

Is there a manual override?

Yes. You can cycle the valve by hand during commissioning, testing, or a power cut.

Can I buy the valve, actuator and solenoid as one package?

Yes, and it is how most customers buy it. We assemble and test the three together before shipping, so there is nothing to match up on site.

Do you have a minimum order quantity?

No. Tell us what you need and we will quote it.

Sample Policy

We are happy to provide product samples for customers to evaluate quality or conduct testing. The process typically begins with a quotation based on the customer’s specifications.

If the pricing is acceptable, we can offer samples either free of charge or at a cost depending on the product type and availability.
Shipping fees are borne by the customer.

Order Process

After confirming the product requirements and other details with the customer, we will issue a Sales Confirmation for approval. Once confirmed, the customer is required to pay a 30% deposit to proceed with production.

When mass production is completed and the goods pass inspection, the customer must pay the remaining 70% balance before shipment is arranged.

FAQ

Please provide a detailed inquiry sheet including product specifications, materials, quantities, and any special requirements. We will offer a quotation based on your request.

Our quotations are typically based on FOB terms. However, we can also offer CFR, CIF, or other Incoterms upon request.

We have no MOQ. We operate on a made-to-order basis and accept orders of any size — trial orders are welcome. For smaller orders, freight is arranged and borne by the buyer.

By T/T – 30% down payment upon order confirmation, and 70% balance before shipment.

Lead time depends on order quantity and specifications. We will confirm the exact schedule when you request a quote.
