The YZNG TRONG V-2CL is a stainless steel camlock valve: a two-piece, full-port ball valve with a male cam-and-groove adapter on one end and a threaded connection on the other. Instead of fitting a separate valve upstream and a plain camlock adapter at the hose, you get both in one body — the shut-off sits right at the hose coupling.
Two end configurations are made: female thread × male camlock adapter (Type A style) and male thread × male camlock adapter (Type F style), in 1-1/2″ and 2″. The body is rated 1000 WOG with a PTFE seat, in 304 or 316 stainless steel, and the male adapter snaps into any standard camlock coupler without tools.
Why a Camlock Ball Valve Instead of a Valve Plus an Adapter
- Tool-free connection: the cam arms lock the hose coupler in seconds — no wrenches, no thread sealing on the hose side.
- Shut-off at the hose: the coupling and the valve are one body, so the line is stopped and disconnected at the same point.
- One fewer joint: a valve with a built-in adapter replaces a valve, a nipple and a separate camlock adapter — one fewer threaded joint to seal and one fewer leak path.
- Two thread options: female thread (Type A style) for pump and tank outlets, male thread (Type F style) for inline hose ends and pipe stubs.
- 304 or 316: choose 316 where the medium carries chlorides — brine, seawater, many chemicals — because the molybdenum in 316 resists chloride pitting. For water and non-chloride duties, 304 does the job.

Type A or Type F: Which Thread End
- Choose it when a hose has to be connected and disconnected often, and you want the shut-off right at the connection instead of further up the line.
- Choose female thread × camlock (Type A style) for pump outlets, tank nozzles and drum or tote outlets.
- Choose male thread × camlock (Type F style) for inline hose ends and pipe stubs.
- Do not choose it for compressed air or steam service — cam-and-groove couplings are not used on compressed gas — or as a substitute for permanent piping. For welded process lines use a two-piece welded ball valve; for threaded process piping see the male × female threaded ball valve.
- Check the whole assembly: the 1000 WOG rating is the valve body. The working pressure of the hose connection is set by the lowest-rated component — usually the coupler or the hose — so match those to your line.
Applications
Stainless steel camlock valves go where a hose is coupled and uncoupled many times a day and the operator needs to close the line at the connection:
- Tank truck and tanker offloading: closing and disconnecting at the hose end after each delivery of fuel, chemicals, water or waste liquids.
- IBC tote fill and drain: a valve with a camlock outlet lets one tote connect to different hoses or trucks without re-threading, and the tote stays shut when the hose comes off.
- Chemical drum and solvent decanting: paints, inks, dyes and solvents transferred drum to drum or drum to process, with the shut-off in the operator’s hand.
- Chemical injection and additive tanks: oilfield and petrochemical sites that swap additive tanks and transfer hoses frequently, where 316 stands up to the media.
- Food and beverage bulk transfer: stainless steel valves for unloading raw ingredients or cleaning solutions from tankers and totes into holding tanks — transfer duty, not the hygienic product line itself.
- Agricultural liquid fertilizer transfer: also suits nurse-tank and sprayer-fill lines where a metal valve is preferred over polypropylene.
FAQ
What is a camlock valve? A shut-off valve with a cam-and-groove (camlock) adapter built into the body. This one is a two-piece stainless steel ball valve: the male camlock end couples to a standard hose coupler, the other end is threaded.
What is the difference between Type A and Type F? Type A style has a female thread on the valve end; Type F style has a male thread. Both carry the same male camlock adapter on the other end.
Which thread standards can you supply? PT, NPT and PF threads are all made to order. Specify the thread standard with your enquiry.
Does it fit standard camlock couplers? Yes — the male adapter end mates with standard cam-and-groove couplers of the same size.
What does 1000 WOG mean? The valve body is rated for 1000 psi of non-shock cold working pressure on water, oil or gas. The hose connection as a whole is limited by the coupler and hose rating, which is usually much lower.
Should I order 304 or 316? Both are made to order. Pick 316 when the medium carries chlorides — brine, seawater, many chemical transfers — because molybdenum resists chloride pitting. For plain water and non-chloride liquids, 304 is sufficient.
Can it be used on compressed air or steam? No. Cam-and-groove couplings are not used on compressed gas or steam service, so the camlock valve is for liquid transfer only.

After confirming the product requirements and other details with the customer, we will issue a Sales Confirmation for approval. Once confirmed, the customer is required to pay a 30% deposit to proceed with production.
When mass production is completed and the goods pass inspection, the customer must pay the remaining 70% balance before shipment is arranged.
