Product Name
Welded-Body 2-Piece Ball Valve — 1000 WOG (F×F, Full Port)
Product Summary
A two-piece stainless steel ball valve rated 1000 WOG, with female threaded (F×F) ends in sizes 1/4″ to 4″. On the 1/4″–3″ models the two body halves are welded into one piece — one less joint, one less place to leak. CF8 (cast 304) and CF8M (cast 316) both in stock; PT, NPT and PF threads all in stock. PTFE seats, -20 °C to +180 °C, manual quarter-turn lever.

The YZNG TRONG 2-Piece Ball Valve is a stainless steel ball valve rated 1000 WOG, built differently from a standard two piece ball valve. Most two-piece bodies are machined with threads and screwed together; on our 1/4″–3″ models the two body halves are welded into a single integrated body — which removes the threaded body joint and, with it, one common place for the valve to leak. (The 4″ size uses a bolted end-cap construction.)
Available in CF8 (cast 304) and CF8M (cast 316) stainless steel — both in stock — with female threaded (F×F) ends in PT, NPT or PF, sizes 1/4″ to 4″. It gives full-port, quarter-turn shut-off for water, oil, gas and general industrial lines. Choose the heavy-duty V-2B for thicker walls and longer service life, or the standard V-2C for a cost-effective build.
Welded Body — One Less Leak Point
- No threaded body joint: on the 1/4″–3″ models the two halves are welded, not screwed, so there is no machined-thread seam between them to weep or work loose.
- Better seal integrity: removing that joint removes a common leak path under pressure and vibration.
- Full 1000 WOG: every size, including the bolted 4″ model, is rated 1000 WOG.
For more on how body construction affects service, see our guides to ball valve body types and why valves leak at the body joint.

Applications
Water, oil, gas and air lines, tank and pump isolation, OEM machinery and general industrial piping — including water treatment systems where a leak-free body joint matters.
FAQ
What does 1000 WOG mean? WOG stands for Water, Oil, Gas — the media the rating covers. 1000 WOG means the valve is rated for 1000 psi (about 69 bar) working pressure at room temperature — plenty for general plumbing and process lines. For hydraulic circuits and lines with pressure spikes, see our 2000 WOG high pressure ball valve.
How is the body welded instead of threaded? On the 1/4″–3″ models the two body halves are joined by welding into one integrated body, instead of the usual machined-thread screwed joint, removing that joint as a leak path.
V-2B or V-2C — which should I choose? V-2B is the heavy-duty series: thicker body wall, longer durability and sealing life, and it covers sizes up to 3″ (plus a separate 4″ model). V-2C is the standard series up to 2″ — a solid, cost-effective choice for general duty.
Is the 4″ valve also welded? No. The 4″ model uses a bolted end-cap construction and is still rated 1000 WOG. It also has an ISO-style top mounting pad for actuator mounting.
Which thread standards are available? PT, NPT and PF female threads are all in stock. Both ends are female (F×F, also called FNPT with NPT threads). If you need one male end, see our male x female (M×F) full port ball valve.
What is the working temperature range? -20 °C to +180 °C (-4 °F to +356 °F), limited by the PTFE seats.
304 or 316 — which should I choose? 304 for general water and air; 316 where there is more pitting/corrosion risk, such as chloride exposure (seawater, brine, coastal plants). Tell us your medium and we’ll advise. Both are in stock.
