Two-Piece Butt Weld Ball Valve – 304 / 316 Stainless Steel, Full Port (1000 WOG)

Product Summary

A two-piece stainless steel ball valve with butt weld ends for a permanent,
leak-tight pipeline joint. Full port, 1000 WOG, PTFE seat. Available in 304 and 316 stainless steel,
sizes 1″, 1-1/2″, 2-1/2″ and 3″.

This butt weld ball valve is a two-piece stainless steel valve with welded ends,
built for pipelines where a permanent, leak-tight joint matters more than easy removal. The body
welds straight into the line, so there are no threads or gaskets at the connection to loosen or seep
over time.

Two-Piece Butt Weld Ball Valve Overview

Butt weld ends are welded end-to-end onto the pipe, giving a connection as strong as the pipe
itself and a smooth bore with no internal pockets. That suits high-pressure lines, long runs, and
systems that need a clean, full-bore flow path.

The two-piece body can be opened for seat and seal inspection during a planned shutdown, while
the full port design keeps the bore equal to the pipe ID for minimal pressure drop. A PTFE seat
handles general-purpose media, and the lever handle shows open or closed at a glance.

Available in 304 and 316 stainless steel. Choose 316 when the line carries chloride-bearing or
more corrosive media; 304 covers general service.

    seep over time.
  • Full bore flow — bore matches the pipe ID, so pressure drop stays low.
  • Serviceable body — the two-piece design opens for seat and seal
    inspection.
  • Material choice — 304 for general service, 316 for chloride or corrosive
    media.

Application Fields

  • Water treatment and high-pressure water distribution
  • Chemical and process piping
  • General industrial fluid systems

FAQ

What sizes are available?
1″, 1-1/2″, 2-1/2″, and 3″, in either 304 or 316
stainless steel.

304 or 316 — which should I choose?
Pick 316 for chloride-bearing or
corrosive media; 304 is fine for general service.

Why butt weld instead of threaded ends?
A welded joint is permanent and
leak-tight, with no threads or gaskets to loosen — a better fit for high-pressure or long pipeline
runs.

Is it full port?
Yes. The bore matches the pipe inner diameter for minimal
pressure drop.
