Product Summary

Angle seat valve, pneumatic, in cast 316 stainless (CF8M) — a Y-type on/off valve with an integrated single-acting (spring return) piston, used as a pneumatic steam valve for fast, frequent shutoff of steam and hot water. The inclined seat gives high flow and low pressure drop.

CF8M (316) body · PTFE seat · PN40 · −20 °C to +150 °C · 1/2″ – 2″ (DN15 – DN50) · PT threads in stock, NPT / PF / socket-weld made to order

ISO 9001 · CE · Manufacturer since 1999 · Made in Taiwan

The YZNG TRONG 2000Y is a stainless steel angle seat valve — a Y-type on/off valve in cast 316 (CF8M) driven by an integrated air piston. The inclined seat opens a near-straight flow path, so it passes more flow with less pressure drop than a globe valve of the same size. That is why the angle seat valve is the usual choice as a pneumatic steam valve for fast, frequent on/off duty.

The single-acting piston (spring return) snaps the valve open and shut on automated lines, and the stainless wetted parts with a PTFE seat handle steam, hot water and other liquids from −20 °C to +150 °C. PT threaded ends, 1/2″ to 2″, make it quick to fit or replace in existing pipework.

Built for Steam and Hot Water

  • Steam service: the angle-seat design and 316 build suit saturated steam and hot-water on/off up to 150 °C (not a modulating control valve).
  • High flow: the inclined seat gives a near-straight path and lower pressure drop than a globe valve.
  • Fast cycling: the integrated piston handles frequent open/close on automated lines; the spring returns the valve when air is removed.
  • Durable head: piston actuator available with a stainless steel or engineering-plastic head.

Which actuator you need depends on your working pressure differential: tell us your line pressure and pilot air pressure when you request a quote, and we will size the actuator for you. Full dimensions are in the PDF dimension sheet above.

Applications

  • Low-pressure saturated steam on/off — steam supply to jacketed vessels, heating coils and process equipment, within the 150 °C rating.
  • Hot-water heating circuits — fast, tight shutoff on hot-water loops and heat exchangers.
  • Sterilizer utility lines — condensate, vent and coolant lines on sterilizers and autoclaves.
  • Washdown and rinse circuits — on/off control of hot-water and rinse lines in cleaning systems.
  • Filling and bottling lines — frequent cycling on filling, bottling and canning machines.
  • Industrial laundry and textile finishing — steam and hot-water on/off on washers, dryers and dyeing machines.
  • Cooling water and heat exchangers — including mould-cooling water on injection moulding machines.
  • Compressed air, viscous and particle-laden media — the straight-through Y pattern passes thick or dirty fluids that would clog a globe valve.

Fit a stainless steel Y strainer upstream to keep scale and debris off the seat. For quarter-turn shutoff on liquids and gas, see our pneumatic ball valves.

FAQ

Is this a control (modulating) valve? No. It is an on/off angle seat valve — fast, tight shut-off for steam and hot fluids, not proportional control.

Why an angle seat valve instead of a globe valve? The inclined seat opens a near-straight path, so flow is higher and pressure drop lower, and the piston handles frequent cycling.

Why is 1″ (DN25) offered with two actuator sizes? The valve body is the same; the larger actuator delivers more closing force for higher working pressure differentials. Tell us your line pressure and pilot air pressure when you request a quote and we will pick the right one.

What temperature can it handle? −20 °C to +150 °C, which covers saturated steam and hot-water service in that range.

What is the minimum order? No minimum order quantity — we accept orders of any size, including small trial orders, and can supply a mill certificate on request. Payment is by T/T — 30% on order confirmation, 70% before shipment.
