Product Summary

A 3-piece full port stainless steel ball valve rated 1000 WOG, sizes 1/4″ to 4″. The bolted 3-piece body swings out for seat replacement without cutting the valve from the line, and the ISO 5211 mounting pad means it can be upgraded to pneumatic or electric actuation later — no re-piping. CF8M (cast 316) in stock; CF8 (cast 304) made to order. PT, NPT and PF threads — all in stock — or socket weld ends. PTFE seats, -20 °C to +180 °C, lockable lever handle.

ISO 9001 · CE · Manufacturer since 1999

The YZNG TRONG 3-Piece Ball Valve is a stainless steel ball valve rated 1000 WOG with a three-piece, serviceable body — the centre section comes out for cleaning or seat replacement without removing the valve from the line. Sizes 1/4″ to 4″, with threaded (PT, NPT or PF), socket weld (SW) or butt weld (BW) ends to suit your piping.

Made in CF8M (cast 316) stainless steel — in stock, with CF8 (cast 304) made to order — it gives full port, quarter-turn shut-off with a lockable manual lever. This is the V-3A — the manual valve. It has no actuator mounting pad. If you want the option of adding an actuator later, say so when you enquire and we will supply the V-3AM instead: the same valve with an ISO 5211 mounting pad machined on top. It still ships with a hand lever — the pad simply sits there until you need it. For service tips, see our 3-piece valve maintenance guide.

Three Connection Options

  • Threaded: screw-in ends in PT, NPT or PF — all three in stock — quick to install and replace.
  • Socket Weld (SW): the pipe seats into the socket and is welded around the rim for a strong, leak-tight joint.
  • Butt Weld (BW): end-to-end weld for a permanent, smooth-bore connection. For the JIS-standard long-pattern version, see our 3-piece butt weld ball valve (JIS).

Why Three-Piece

  • Serviceable in line: remove the body bolts and the centre section comes out for cleaning, inspection or seat replacement — no cutting the valve out of the pipe, which matters most for welded installations.
  • Want the option of automating it later? Ask for the V-3AM — the same valve with an ISO 5211 mounting pad on top. You still get a hand lever; the pad is there for the day you bolt an actuator on. Need it automated now? See the 3-piece pneumatic ball valve.
  • Full port: the bore matches the pipe for maximum flow and minimal pressure drop.
  • Blow-out proof stem and PTFE seats for a tight, repeatable seal.

Applications

Water, oil, gas and steam lines, process and utility piping, OEM machinery and skids — anywhere that needs a serviceable, weldable or threaded shut-off valve in general industrial piping or chemical, oil & gas service.

FAQ

PT, SW or BW — what is the difference? PT/NPT/PF are threaded (screw-in) ends — all three thread standards are in stock. SW is socket weld: the pipe seats into a socket and is welded at the rim. BW is butt weld: an end-to-end weld for a permanent, smooth-bore connection.

Why choose a three-piece ball valve? The body comes apart in place, so you can clean it or replace the seats without removing the valve from the line — especially useful when the ends are welded in.

Can this valve be automated later? Not this one. The V-3A on this page is the manual valve and has no mounting pad. If you want to keep the door open, tell us when you order and we will supply the V-3AM instead — the same valve with an ISO 5211 pad machined on top, still shipped with a hand lever. An actuator then bolts straight on, with no bracket and no re-piping. If you want it automated from the start, see our 3-piece pneumatic ball valve.

Which thread standards are available? PT, NPT and PF — all in stock. Tell us which standard your piping uses when you request a quote.

What is the working temperature range? -20 °C to +180 °C (-4 °F to +356 °F), limited by the PTFE seats.

304 or 316 — which should I choose? The standard valve is CF8M (cast 316), in stock. CF8 (cast 304) is made to order for general water and air duty. Choose 316 where the media or environment carries chlorides (seawater, brine, coastal plants).
