Nombre del producto

Válvula de bola de 3 piezas de acero inoxidable, 1000 WOG – Roscada y para soldadura por encastre

SKU: V-3A

Resumen del producto

This 3 piece stainless steel ball valve is a full port 316 (CF8M) valve rated 1000 WOG. Available sizes include 1/4″, 3/8″, 1/2″, 3/4″, 1″, 1-1/4″, 1-1/2″, 2″, 2-1/2″, 3″ and 4″ with PT, NPT or PF threaded, socket weld or butt weld ends. After the line has been isolated, depressurized and drained, the bolted center body can be removed for cleaning or access to the PTFE seats while the end connections remain installed. V-3A is supplied with a manual lockable lever and no actuator mounting pad. Select a separately specified mounting-pad or actuated model when automation is required.

The YZNG TRONG V-3A is a 316 stainless steel 3-piece full port ball valve rated 1000 WOG. It is available from 1/4″ to 4″ with PT, NPT or PF threaded ends, socket weld (SW) ends, or butt weld (BW) ends.

After the line has been isolated, depressurized and drained, the bolted center body can be removed while the end connections remain installed, giving access to the ball, PTFE seats and end seals. This is especially useful on welded piping because routine valve service does not require cutting the end connections from the line. For maintenance steps, see our 3-piece ball valve maintenance guide.

V-3A is supplied with a manual lockable lever and no actuator mounting pad. Select a separately specified mounting-pad model when future automation is required. For a valve supplied with an actuator, see the Válvula de bola neumática de 3 piezas.

Opciones de conexión

  • Con hilo: PT, NPT or PF female threaded ends for screw-in piping connections.
  • Soldadura por encaje (SW): the pipe fits into the socket before welding around the joint.
  • Soldadura a tope (BW): the valve end and pipe are joined end to end. For a separate long-pattern model, see the 3-piece butt weld ball valve.

Características principales

  • Three-piece serviceable body: after safe line isolation, the center body can be removed while the installed end connections remain in place.
  • Full-port flow path: reduces flow restriction compared with a reduced-port valve.
  • 316 stainless steel construction: ASTM A351 Gr. CF8M body, end caps and ball, with an ASTM A276 Gr. 316 stem.
  • PTFE seats and seals: the seat, packing, end seals and thrust washer are identified as PTFE.
  • Blow-out-proof stem: designed to retain the stem within the valve body.
  • Lockable manual lever: manual operation with an SS304 handle.

Aplicaciones

The three-piece body is what puts this valve on lines that need servicing without cutting pipe. These are the duties it is specified for:

  • Chemical processing and chemical feed lines. Corrosive process fluids wear PTFE seats faster than water or air, so the seats get changed on a schedule. The centre body unbolts for that work while the threaded or welded end connections stay fixed in the line.
  • Water and wastewater treatment chemical dosing. Ferric chloride, alum and polymer feed lines are usually skid-mounted and welded in place. Crews reseat on schedule without disturbing the dosing pipework.
  • Pulp and paper process-liquor piping. CF8M resists the chemical liquors carried on these lines, and the full-port bore keeps the flow path clear between services.
  • Marine seawater, bilge and wash-down lines. Seawater attacks seats faster than fresh water, and shipboard pipework is largely welded — cutting into a seawater line is a major job. The centre body is serviced in place instead.
  • Compressed air and industrial utility gas headers. Moisture and oil carryover foul PTFE seats over time. On a welded header the centre section comes out for reseating without breaking the run.

Confirm pressure, temperature and media compatibility against the specifications above before selection.

Preguntas frecuentes

What is the difference between PT threaded, socket weld and butt weld ends?

PT, NPT and PF are threaded (screw-in) ends, and all three thread standards are in stock. Socket weld (SW) means the pipe fits into a socket before welding around the joint. Butt weld (BW) means the valve end and pipe are joined end to end for a permanent, smooth-bore connection.

Why choose a 3-piece ball valve?

Compared with a one-piece or two-piece valve, the three-piece design lets you replace the seats or clean the ball without cutting the valve out of a welded line, which keeps future maintenance quick even on socket-weld or butt-weld installations.

Can I mount an actuator on this valve?

V-3A ships with a manual lockable lever and has no ISO 5211 actuator mounting pad on the body. If you are planning automation, tell us when you place the order and we will supply the V-3AM instead — the same valve with an ISO 5211 pad machined on top, still shipped with a hand lever, so an actuator can be added later with no bracket and no re-piping. See the V-3AM air actuated version.

¿Qué normas de rosca suministráis?

PT (taper) is the standard thread on this valve. NPT and PF are also in stock — tell us which standard your piping uses when you request a quote.

¿Qué tallas hay disponibles?

Sizes range from 1/4″ to 4″. See the dimension table above, or download the PT, SW or BW dimension sheet for the size you need.

¿Debería elegir acero inoxidable 304 o 316?

V-3A ships as standard in 316 stainless steel (CF8M body, end caps and ball), in stock. 304 stainless steel (CF8) is made to order for general water and air duty. Choose 316 where the media or environment carries chlorides — seawater, brine or coastal installations — because the added molybdenum resists chloride pitting that 304 cannot.

¿Cuál es el rango de temperatura de funcionamiento?

−20 °C to +180 °C (−4 °F to +356 °F), limited by the PTFE seats.
