A standard ball valve is built for all-or-nothing flow. Fit this abgestufter Griff and it becomes a simple manual flow control ball valve: a scale plate marked from 0° to 90° in 10° increments sits under the handle, and a locking pin secures the handle at the notch you choose — 30°, 50°, or any other step.

For simple throttling jobs, this is a far cheaper route than an automated control valve — one 304 stainless steel accessory instead of an actuator, positioner, and wiring.

How the Locking Pin Works

• Set: turn the handle to the angle you need and secure the locking pin in the matching notch on the graduated plate.
• Hold: with the pin engaged, the handle resists pipeline vibration and flow-induced movement in normal service — changing the position takes a deliberate release of the pin.
• Repeat: operators can note a setting (“notch 3”) and return the valve to exactly the same flow after maintenance or flushing.
