Valve Distributor Program: Private Label Stainless Steel Ball Valves from a Taiwan Factory

Last updated: 2026-11-08

Short answer: Our valve distributor program supplies stainless steel ball valves, Y strainers and check valves from our own factory in Taiwan, under your label or ours. A new distributor gets distributor pricing, order-by-order business with no long-term contract, 30% deposit with 70% before shipment, a one-year warranty, and no direct sales by us into your market.

This page is for the industrial or PVF (pipe, valves and fittings) distributor who already sells ball valves and wants a stainless steel line of its own: your brand on the valve and the box, your stock, your price list, sourced from one factory. It sets out what we supply, what a distributor gets, how private label works, what is tested before shipment, and what one distributor’s order of 300 valves in the United Arab Emirates shows about the product.

Yzng Trong International has made stainless steel ball valves in Taiwan since 1999. We hold ISO 9001 and CE. Bodies, end caps and balls are investment cast; we assemble and test every valve in our own factory. We also build the pneumatic and electric actuators, solenoid valves, limit switch boxes and ISO 5211 brackets that go on the valves. We ship to North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Australia, and we already work with distributors in the Middle East, North America, Southeast Asia and Australia.

Which stainless steel ball valves can a distributor stock or private label?

All of our ball valve bodies are cast 304 or cast 316 stainless steel, referred to by their cast grades, CF8 and CF8M; our guide to CF8M material explains the two codes. Standard seats are PTFE, every ball valve has a blowout-proof stem, and the surface is pickled. Threads are cut to the standard stated on the order, PT, NPT or PF, so a North American distributor orders NPT and a distributor in a PT market orders PT from the same series. “From stock” below means our regular items; everything else is made to order, and the quotation states which applies to each line.

Series Type Tailles Matériau de la carrosserie Rating and ends
V-2B / V-2C Seal-welded two-piece, full port V-2B 1/4″–3″; V-2C 1/4″–2″ CF8 and CF8M both from stock 1000 WOG; threaded. V-2B-SW socket weld 1/4″–4″ made to order
V-3A Three-piece, full port 1/4″–4″ CF8M from stock; CF8 made to order 1000 WOG; threaded, socket weld or butt weld. Seat and seal repair kits sold separately
R-1B One-piece, reduced port 1/4″–2″; 2-1/2″ and 3″ made to order CF8M from stock; CF8 made to order 1000 WOG; threaded
V-2NF Two-piece, full port, high pressure 1/4″–2″ CF8M from stock; CF8 made to order 2000 WOG; threaded
MV-3M Three-way, L-port or T-port 1/4″–2″ CF8M from stock; CF8 made to order 1000 WOG; threaded. L and T balls both from stock
F-2 Flanged, full port 1/2″–8″ Class 150 and JIS 10K; 1/2″–4″ Class 300 and JIS 20K CF8 or CF8M Rated to the flange class; PTFE seat, −20 to +180 °C
YS Filtre en Y 1/4″–3″ CF8M from stock; CF8 made to order 800 WOG; threaded; 20, 60 and 100 mesh screens from stock
SC Swing check valve 1/2″–3″ CF8M from stock; CF8 made to order 200 WOG; threaded. Flanged check valves C-2F to C-4F: CF8 from stock, CF8M made to order
V-2AM / V-3AM / MV-3DM Pneumatic ball valves with our own actuator 3/8″–4″ (two- and three-piece); 1/4″–2″ (three-way) CF8M 1000 WOG; double acting or spring return, ISO 5211, 4–8 bar air; shipped assembled and tested

Two things a distributor should know before building a stock list from this table. First, which material is the regular item differs by series: the seal-welded V-2B and V-2C are stocked in both 304 and 316, while the three-piece, one-piece and strainer lines are stocked in 316 with 304 made to order. Second, on the pneumatic series the actuator type is built in at the factory. A spring return actuator cannot be converted to double acting after delivery, so a distributor stocks the two as separate items. Electric actuators, handles and ISO 5211 mounting kits are on the liste des produits.

How does private label work?

Private label means the valve, the box and the paperwork carry your brand, so the end user has no reason to look past you for the next order. We offer four marking methods, and the choice follows your market.

  • Laser marking on the body or handle.
  • Steel stamping: a struck mark, suits a short brand name.
  • Labels: applied to the valve or the carton.
  • Printed colour boxes: your artwork on the individual carton.

Actuators can carry your label too. If your range needs a specification we do not list, we can sign a non-disclosure agreement, help with the design change, build dedicated tooling for your part, or make to your drawing. We keep a reference sample of your approved valve, so later production is checked against the same piece. The minimum quantity for private label depends on the product and is quoted with the price. Our article on OEM and ODM valve manufacturing covers the design side in more depth.

What is tested, and which documents ship with the order?

Every valve is leak tested and checked dimensionally before it leaves the factory. Pneumatic assemblies are also stroke tested and torque tested as a complete unit before packing. These are routine; a distributor does not have to ask for them.

Documents are issued to the order, so write the ones you need on the purchase order and they travel with the shipment:

  • Material test report (MTR) for the valve body.
  • Pressure test report for the order.
  • Certificate of conformance (CoC) to the order specification.
  • Certificate of Origin, stating Taiwan.
  • Copy of our ISO 9001 certificate, on request.

The Certificate of Origin matters more than it used to. Valves of Taiwan origin are outside the China-specific Section 301 duties that the United States Trade Representative maintains on goods of Chinese origin. The rest of the duty stack on HTS 8481 changes, so take the current rate from your customs broker.

What one UAE distributor’s order of 300 valves shows

One of our customers in the United Arab Emirates is a distributor: it buys stainless steel ball valves and supplies them to its own customers’ diesel fuel lines. After long service, the threaded valves on those lines leaked at the joint between the body and the end cap. The distributor did not know the cause, only that the valves went that way with age.

The distributor asked us for a sample first and tested it, then asked for one change: a handle to its own requirement, which we quoted as a separate line. It also priced a local alternative, which was cheaper and already in the country, and still placed its order with us. It has now replaced more than 300 valves with our PT-threaded V-2B, and nothing else on the lines was changed. The V-2B has a seal-welded body with no body-to-end-cap joint, so the leak path the distributor had been living with is not there. The replacement is recent, so this is a record of where the old valves leaked and what was chosen instead; we wrote up the leak paths themselves in how to choose industrial ball valves with fewer leak paths.

The useful part is the shape of the order: sample first, one custom item quoted alongside the standard valve, a specific failure that the standard product answers. That is the order a distributor places on behalf of its own customers, and it is what the program is built to handle.

Three things to settle before the first order

These come up in our own quotations.

  1. The thread standard, on every line. PT and NPT are both tapered pipe threads and look alike on the shelf. A North American distributor needs NPT. Write the standard on every line of the purchase order so that no PT valve ends up in an NPT bin.
  2. The grade, confirmed in writing before we quote. On a recent order the grade moved between 304 and 316 from one message to the next. We ask for the grade to be confirmed in writing before the quotation is issued, and the body MTR then shows the grade that was ordered.
  3. The documents, on the purchase order. MTR, pressure test report, CoC and Certificate of Origin are issued to the order. They are a line on the purchase order; they are hard to assemble months later.

How do you start as a distributor?

  1. Send us your market and your range. Country, the customers you sell to, the sizes and series you want to stock, and whether you want your own label from the first order.
  2. Receive the distributor price list and a quotation for your first order, with MOQ per product and the Incoterm you asked for.
  3. Test a sample. Samples are available and charged.
  4. Place the first order at 30% deposit, 70% before shipment. State the thread standard, the documents you need and any marking on the purchase order.
  5. Agree the private label details on the quotation if your brand goes on the valve or the box.
  6. Move to a blanket order once your stock turns are known, and call off shipments against it.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a minimum order for the valve distributor program?

There is no formal annual minimum and no contract volume. A first order can be a trial order. The MOQ depends on the product and is stated on each quotation. Tell us the sizes and series you want to stock and the quotation shows the minimum for each line.

Do you offer territory protection?

Territory protection is discussed case by case, based on the market you cover and the range you stock. We do not sell direct into a distributor’s market. Business is order by order, so no long-term agreement has to be signed before you start.

Can you private label a small first run?

Yes, within the minimum quantity for private label, which depends on the product and is quoted with the price. The four methods are laser marking, steel stamping, labels and printed colour boxes. Actuators can carry your label as well.

What are the payment and delivery terms for a new distributor?

A new account pays a 30% deposit with the order and 70% before shipment, by bank transfer. We quote on the Incoterm you prefer and ship by sea. Regular items are supplied from stock and the rest is made to order; the quotation states the shipping date for each line.

What happens if a valve is defective?

Every valve carries a one-year warranty. Tell us about the defect, and the replacement is shipped with your next order. Every valve was leak tested and checked dimensionally before it left the factory.
