The inclined seat opens a near-straight flow path, so it passes more flow with less pressure drop than a globe valve of the same size. That is why the angle seat valve is the usual choice as a <b>pneumatic steam valve<\/b> for fast, frequent on\/off duty.<\/p>\n<p>The single-acting piston (spring return) snaps the valve open and shut on automated lines, and the stainless wetted parts with a PTFE seat handle steam, hot water and other liquids from \u221220 \u00b0C to +150 \u00b0C.
