Instead of fitting a separate valve upstream and a plain camlock adapter at the hose, you get both in one body \u2014 the shut-off sits right at the hose coupling.<\/p>\n<p>Two end configurations are made: female thread \u00d7 male camlock adapter (Type A style) and male thread \u00d7 male camlock adapter (Type F style), in 1-1\/2\u2033 and 2\u2033. Pick 316 when the medium carries chlorides \u2014 brine, seawater, many chemical transfers \u2014 because molybdenum resists chloride pitting.
