The YS-BD is our 316 stainless steel Y strainer with a blowdown valve: instead of the standard blow-off plug, a quarter-turn ball valve sits on the drain port. Open it for a moment and line pressure flushes the trapped debris straight out through the drain \u2014 no wrench, no opening the cap, and filtration continues the second you close it.<\/p>\n

The strainer body is rated 800 WOG with a SUS 316 screen in 20, 60 or 100 mesh (20 mesh is the standard we ship). Female PT threads are in stock, sizes 1\/4\u2033 to 3\u2033; NPT and PF can be made to order. Prefer the simple plug version?
