The body, cap and ball are cast in ASTM A351 CF8M, the cast form of 316 stainless steel; a CF8 (cast 304) version is made to order. The full-port bore matches the pipe inside diameter, so the open valve does not restrict flow.<\/p>\n<p>Female PT threads are in stock in every size \u2014 1\/4\u2033, 3\/8\u2033, 1\/2\u2033, 3\/4\u2033, 1\u2033, 1-1\/4\u2033, 1-1\/2\u2033 and 2\u2033; NPT and PF threads are made to order. Every size carries a drilled mounting pad on the body, so a pneumatic or electric actuator can be fitted directly later without changing the valve.
