Its inclined Y-pattern seat opens a near-straight flow path, giving high flow and low pressure drop \u2014 which is why the angle seat valve is a common choice as a pneumatic steam valve for fast, frequent on\/off duty.<\/p>\n<p>The piston actuator snaps the valve open and shut for automated lines, and the all-stainless wetted parts handle high-pressure steam, hot water and other liquids.
