Sanitary Pneumatic Ball Valve: 3-Piece 316, Tri-Clamp or Butt Weld<\/h2>\n

This sanitary pneumatic ball valve is the V-3NM high-mount three-piece valve with a rack-and-pinion air actuator on top — double-acting (DA) or spring-return (SR), running on a 4–8 bar air supply. The valve body and ball are cast 316 stainless steel (ASTM A351 CF8M), full port, rated 1000 WOG, with a PTFE seat in fully or semi encapsulated form. 316 is the stock material and 304 (CF8) is made on request.<\/p>\n

Two end styles cover both ways a hygienic line is built: Tri-Clamp ferrules on the V-3NM, or extended OD-tube butt-weld ends on the V-3NM-L3. ISO 5211 High-Platform Pad: Actuator Bolts Straight On<\/h2>\n

The mounting pad is cast into the valve body as a raised platform and drilled to ISO 5211, F03 to F10 depending on size. The actuator bolts directly to it, so there is no bracket to fabricate and no coupling to machine, and the raised platform keeps the actuator clear of the valve body and of the line itself. The top of the actuator carries the standard pads for a solenoid valve, a limit switch box or a positioner.<\/p>\n

Tri-Clamp or Butt Weld?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Tri-Clamp (V-3NM)<\/td>\nClamp ferrule and gasket. The valve comes out of the line without tools, so it suits take-off points and lines that are opened often.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Extended butt weld (V-3NM-L3)<\/td>\nLong OD-tube ends welded into the run. The extra length keeps welding heat away from the PTFE seats, so it suits permanently welded main runs.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n

Cavity Filled Ball Valve Seat: Fully or Semi Encapsulated PTFE<\/h2>\n

The PTFE seat wraps around the ball and fills the body cavity where product could otherwise collect. The fully encapsulated (cavity filled) seat fills the most cavity and is rated −20 to +80 °C; the semi encapsulated seat is rated −20 to +180 °C. Three-Piece Body: Service Without Cutting the Line<\/h2>\n

The body unbolts into three pieces in place. The bore can be inspected, the internals cleaned and the seats replaced without cutting the valve out of the run and without lifting the actuator off its pad — which matters on a line where the valve is one of many in a sequence.<\/p>\n
