A butterfly handle ball valve<\/strong> is a ball valve fitted with a compact wing grip in place of the usual lever. A lever needs a wide arc of clearance to swing through its 90\u00b0 travel \u2014 clearance that valves in instrumentation panels, cabinets, and closely spaced manifolds simply don\u2019t have. The wing grip sits right on the valve stem: grip the wings, turn, done. The same part is also called a T handle ball valve<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It is made from 304 stainless steel and suits smaller valves (1\/4\u2033 to 1\u2033) where high torque leverage is not required.<\/p>\n
