This 316 stainless steel y type strainer mechanically removes solids from flowing liquids<br \/>\nor gases through a wire mesh screen, protecting pumps, meters, control valves and steam traps from<br \/>\ndebris, scale and rust.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;Y&#8221; shape keeps fluid resistance low while the screen traps particulates. A threaded cap<br \/>\ngives access to the filter screen for cleaning without removing the strainer body from the line.<br \/>\nScreens are available in 20, 60 or 100 mesh to match your filtration needs, from coarse debris to<br \/>\nfine sediment.
