It accepts AC 110V, 220V or 380V (single phase), or DC 24V or 48V. <strong>When mains power is lost, the built-in lithium battery drives the valve to the fully closed position<\/strong> \u2014 the line shuts, without an air supply, a spring, or an external UPS.<\/p>\n<p>A full charge is good for <strong>approximately 5,000 operations<\/strong>, and full travel takes <strong>3 seconds<\/strong>, open to close. An LCD on the actuator shows the battery level, and wiring runs through an aviation plug connector, so a technician can connect or disconnect without opening the cover.<\/p>\n<h2>What Happens When the Power Fails<\/h2>\n<p>This is the question that decides the purchase, so here is the direct answer: <strong>the valve closes.<\/strong> The lithium battery inside the actuator holds enough charge for <strong>approximately 5,000 operations<\/strong> on a full charge \u2014 so it is not a one-shot emergency reserve, it keeps working through repeated outages. No compressed air, no spring pack, no plant-wide UPS.<\/p>\n<p>Four methods are used across the industry to keep a valve controllable when the power goes out. Supercapacitors hold charge only briefly. An external UPS is a plant-level investment, not a feature of the valve.
