The male end screws directly into a female port \u2014 a tank outlet, a pump housing, a machine connection \u2014 while the female end accepts the next pipe or hose adapter. That replaces the usual nipple-plus-valve combination: one less joint, one less potential leak path, and a shorter, cleaner assembly.<\/p>\n<p>Choose M\u00d7F when the valve mounts directly on equipment or at a hose take-off point.
